The Bourne Hexagon 8.8 is an initiation racket whose main feature is the power, which added to the high rebound and the great ball output, allows players who are taking their first steps in padel to improve their level quickly.
The Bourne Hexagon 8.8 is made of a bi-directional carbon and fiberglass tubular with a 38mm EVA core of low hardness that is laminated with layers of fiberglass fabric. The core is reinforced with carbon fiber fabric, impregnated with Varlion's exclusive VAR-FLEX epoxy resin and coated with a layer of titanium dioxide.
This racket is manufactured with the BOURNE shape, a hybrid born from the fusion of the traditional diamond (power racket) and teardrop (balanced racket) shapes. It is an exclusive Varlion shape that adds a point of control to the offensive blades, so we get 60% power and 40% control.
The Ergoholes progressive hole pattern reduces air resistance and allows a cleaner and more homogeneous hit, expanding the sweet spot and improving the efficiency of the swing.
Thanks to this technology we get more resistance in the core and a greater homogeneity in the blows, which generates an increase in the sweet spot of the racket.
Handlesafety is the safety system on the handle of the racket. Usually the blades are manufactured with a centered hole in the handle from which the string exits. This method sometimes fails and the paddle can become detached from the string causing an error in the game and a dangerous situation for all players.
Handlesafety technology has solved this problem, as the string goes through the two walls of the handle and thus prevents the blade and string from separating. It also offers extra comfort at the wrist.
