The LW 8.8 is an entry-level blade whose main feature is control. Combined with high rebound and excellent ball output, it allows players taking their first steps in padel to quickly improve their level.
The LW 8.8 is made with a bidirectional carbon and fiberglass tubular frame and a 38 mm low-hardness EVA core laminated with layers of fiberglass fabric. The heart is reinforced with carbon fiber fabric, impregnated with Varlion’s exclusive VAR-FLEX epoxy resin, and coated with a layer of titanium dioxide.
This blade is manufactured with the LW shape, a hybrid born from the fusion of the traditional round (control blades) and teardrop (balanced blades) shapes. It is an exclusive shape from Varlion that adds a touch of control to offensive blades, achieving 40% power and 60% control.
The Ergoholes progressive hole pattern reduces air resistance and allows a cleaner and more homogeneous hit, expanding the sweet spot and improving the efficiency of the swing.
Thanks to this technology we get more resistance in the core and a greater homogeneity in the blows, which generates an increase in the sweet spot of the racket.
Handlesafety is the safety system on the handle of the racket. Usually the blades are manufactured with a centered hole in the handle from which the string exits. This method sometimes fails and the paddle can become detached from the string causing an error in the game and a dangerous situation for all players.
Handlesafety technology has solved this problem, as the string goes through the two walls of the handle and thus prevents the blade and string from separating. It also offers extra comfort at the wrist.
