The Bourne Prisma Carbon Soft is a high-performance padel racket designed for advanced players seeking maximum power without sacrificing control or comfort. With its diamond-shaped design and medium-high balance, it’s built to dominate from the very first hit, delivering explosive power and precision on every shot.
Crafted with a bidirectional carbon tubular frame and a 38mm semi-soft SOFTCOLOR Core EVA rubber, this racket features a technical laminate that combines fiberglass with 20K Carrera carbon fiber—a premium diamond-patterned fiber (20mm x 20mm) offering enhanced elasticity, strength, and durability.
All materials are bonded with VAR-FLEX epoxy resin, exclusively developed by Varlion to enhance shock absorption and extend the racket’s lifespan.
Summum: more reach, more comfort
Summum technology is present in several key aspects:
-Longer 14.5 cm handle, ideal for two-handed backhands and a more comfortable grip.
-Extended hitting surface, which helps extend the sweet spot.
-ErgoHoles gradual perforation pattern (patented), with holes that improve aerodynamics and expand the sweet spot.
-ErgoSlice rough texture, with raised lines that improve ball grip and enhance spin.
Advanced aerodynamics and total protection
The Prisma Frame, with its prism-shaped design, reduces air resistance by 10% and significantly improves the maneuverability of the racket. In turn, the Wings Diffuser system, located in the core, optimizes air flow, providing stability and precision in each stroke.
In terms of protection, this racket includes the Adhesive Bumper, an injected TPU protector that adapts perfectly to the frame, protecting it from impacts without compromising the aerodynamic design.
Safety, aesthetics and functionality
To ensure total safety during play, the HandleSafety system anchors the string through the two walls of the handle, preventing detachment and offering greater comfort for the wrist.
And as a final touch, the SOFTCOLOR technology provides a vibrant and elegant design, integrating the color of the rubber with the rest of the racket for a modern and sophisticated aesthetic.
Prisma frame (patented) + AB System (patented)
The Prisma frame arises to avoid the damage we cause to the blade by hitting it with the wall or glass. Thanks to its Prisma shape, this frame reduces the contact surface by up to 90% and also improves air resistance by 10%, providing greater maneuverability and acceleration during impacts.
For greater safety, the racket includes an adhesive protector which adapts perfectly to this very special framework.
Technology patented and registered with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office and extendable to other countries.
Wings Diffuser (Patented)
Technology developed with the aim of directing the air flow in the only “treatable” area of the racket where the air passes through, its heart. The advantages of this technology are:
-Increased player speed in both fast strokes such as smash.
-A greater regularity of the stroke by making the trajectory more constant, thanks to the null influence of the turbulences that normally have the conventional blades in the area of the heart.
-Greater number of strokes with more control, also thanks to the reduction of these turbulences.
Its design is inspired by the diffuser first included by the Brawn GP Formula 1 team at the rear and back of the car.
Summum (Trademark)
Includes a 14.5 cm grip, a wider hitting area and integration with the Wings Diffuser. This set, trademarked by Varlion under the name Summum, improves comfort, control and efficiency at every point.
ErgoSlice (Proprietary patented technology)
The ErgoSlice rough texture improves ball grip during slices with raised lines that follow the contour of the racquet.
Ergoholes
The Ergoholes progressive hole pattern reduces air resistance and allows for a cleaner, more consistent hit, expanding the sweet spot and improving swing efficiency.
Handlesafety (patented)
The Handlesafety safety system allows the string to pass through both sides of the grip, ensuring a more secure and comfortable hold. It prevents breakage and adds reliability to the grip.
